Coming of Age Ceremonies
Many cultures and religious traditions do a great job of honoring and supporting coming of age passages from childhood to adolescence, adolescence to adulthood. In secular America, not so much.

There are so many rites of passage in a young person’s life that deserve more than a card and a check – from the onset of adolescence; to milestone birthdays, graduations, and achievements; to transitions like moving or divorce. Planning a coming of age ceremony places the young person at the center to celebrate their strengths, witness their innate wisdom, and help them to marshal the resources they need to traverse the turbulent times.
